Corporate Africa Delegation to the WBE
Corporate Africa is inviting a delegation (30 people) to the WBE during August 2024. Free tickets will be provided for our delegates to access the EXPO and also the WBE. They will have access to a translator at all times and will be led by the Delegation Manager who will be introducing them to leaders of companies seeking opportunities in overseas markets mainly across Africa and Europe. One and One meetings will follow to discuss potential partnerships and collaborations.

Mainly focused on vehicles and energy batteries World Battery and Energy Industry Storage Expo (WBE) is an international product display and business platform dedicated to promoting global trade. WBE is the biggest exhibition of its kind in China. It offers the biggest number of exhibitors and the most foreign visitors and overseas buyers.
The Import Export Fair event covers 8 exhibition halls featuring 3957 exhibitors. 1205 of these exhibitors are promoting batteries for vehicles and energy storage and hydrogen energy and smart technology. 137,000 visitors will attend the three day event all of them trade companies from industry sectors including battery and energy storage, new energy vehicles, low speed electric vehicles, solar energy, consumer electronics, communication, big data, infrastructure smart terminals etc.

- World Number One New Electric Vehicle sales 68 per cent of all new energy vehicles sales are in China 4.53 million vehicles in first seven months of 2023
Energy Storage to provide new Growth
- China’s export of batteries have also increased from 16.2 GWh in 202 to 130 GWh in 2022 a massive 184 per cent increase mainly due to increase for energy storage for homes and industries
Strong Push for Green Hydrogen Future
- China plans to put 50,000 hydrogen vehicles on the road by 2025 and to build 1000 hydrogen refueling stations
